Biography: Roberto began to play Bass in 1991 and in 1992 started to play professionally in several towns around Italy. In 1996 he joined in Diatriba, a flamenco-jazz band lead by virtuoso guitarist Marco Porcu and for the following three years , with this quartet, he’d performed in Jazz festivals as well as in Tv channels and major club s in Italy. In 2003 he moved to London and formed Rober Music Production, resumed collaboration with Marco Porcu establishing the MP Project and promoted this collaboration throughout England’s capitol. In 2005, Roberto established Rober Music Production in Wichita, U.S.A. He has performed for many events including those sponsored by Boeing, Cessna, Beechcraft, Raytheon, Bradley Fair Shopping Center, The Kansas Humane Society, The Chamber of Commerce, Weigand Realty, Cohlmia Marketing. He has also performed in local venues: Chester’s Chophouse , Luciano’s, Chelsea’s, Garozzo’s, Uptown Bistro, Bella Donna, Orpheum Theatre, Wichita Art Musuem, Old Town Cabaret, Bella Luna Café’, Oeno wine bar,. He has also been invited twice by host Barry Gaston to play live for Jazz radio KMUW on Jazz Café’ show and was featured in an interview in July 2005 for the Wichita Register Magazine. Since 2007 he’s a teacher at Butler Comm.College and also he works and recording in collaboration with artists such as Harry James Big Band, The Fabulous Flippers, Gary Foster, Christian Howes, Bill Caldwell, Earl Dumler, Roger Lewis, Jerry Hahn, Tom Fowler, Philippe Bertaud ,Randy Zellers, Scott Strecker, Richard Johnson and with the Wichita Guitar Society. In 2009 Roberto became a member of EarthJazz (Latin Caribbean Calypso) and Heartland Express (Rock Country).
